1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Shopen.pk, creating an account, placing an order, using the mobile app, or continuing to browse the website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should stop using the services immediately.

These terms are intended for general platform use and should be reviewed by your legal advisor before publication.

2. Services Covered

These terms apply to all Shopen.pk services, including but not limited to:

  • Website browsing and product discovery
  • User registration and account management
  • Shopping cart, checkout, and order processing
  • Customer support and order tracking
  • Push notifications and in-app messages
  • Promotions, discounts, referrals, and loyalty features
  • Any future app features released under the Shopen.pk brand

3. Eligibility and Accounts

Account rules

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • You must notify us of unauthorized account access immediately.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.

Age and authority

  • By using the services, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
  • If you use the services on behalf of a business or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.

4. Orders, Pricing, and Payments

  • All product descriptions, availability, prices, and offers may change without notice.
  • We may cancel or refuse any order for reasons including stock issues, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or policy violations.
  • Payment must be completed using approved payment methods displayed at checkout.
  • You agree to provide valid billing and delivery information.
  • Taxes, delivery charges, and other fees may apply and will be shown before order confirmation where required.

We may contact you by email, SMS, phone, or in-app notification regarding order confirmation, payment status, shipping updates, or support issues.

5. Shipping, Returns, and Refunds

  • Estimated delivery times are only estimates and may change.
  • Delivery may be affected by couriers, weather, regional restrictions, or events beyond our control.
  • Risk may transfer according to the shipping terms shown at checkout or in a separate policy.

Returns and refunds

  • Return eligibility depends on product type, condition, and reason for return.
  • Refunds may be issued to the original payment method or another approved method.
  • Some items may be non-returnable or non-refundable where permitted by law.

6. User Content and Conduct

  • You must not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its security or operations.
  • You must not upload harmful code, spam, false reviews, abusive content, or unlawful material.
  • If you submit reviews, comments, images, or other content, you grant Shopen.pk a non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for service operation and promotion, subject to applicable law.
  • We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

7. Privacy and Data Use

We collect and use data only as needed to provide and improve the services, including:

  • Account details such as name, email, phone number, and login credentials
  • Order details, billing records, delivery addresses, and payment status
  • Support requests, messages, and communication history
  • Device, app, browser, and log information for security and troubleshooting
  • Analytics data used to improve performance and user experience

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with service providers, payment processors, delivery partners, legal authorities, or others as needed to operate the service or comply with law.

8. Data Deletion Request Process

Users can request deletion of their personal data from the Shopen.pk website and mobile app services provided under Nexgen Services. Please follow these steps carefully so we can verify your request and process it securely.

  1. Send a deletion request. Email us or use the support/contact form and clearly state that you want your account and personal data deleted.
  2. Include verification details. Provide the account email, phone number, registered name, and any order number or proof needed to verify ownership.
  3. Confirm what should be deleted. Tell us whether you want only your account removed or also your order-related data deleted wherever legally possible.
  4. Wait for verification. We may ask for additional information to protect your account and prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
  5. Deletion is processed. After verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible personal data within our operational systems.
  6. Receive confirmation. We will notify you when the request is completed, or explain any data we must retain for legal, tax, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.

“I request deletion of my Shopen.pk account and associated personal data. My registered email/phone is [insert details]. Please confirm what data will be deleted and what data must be retained for legal reasons.”

9. What We Delete or Keep

Data normally deleted

  • Profile information linked to your account
  • Login credentials and account identifiers
  • Saved addresses and contact details, where not required for legal retention
  • Marketing preferences and non-essential app settings
  • Support messages that are not needed for legal or dispute handling
  • Device identifiers used for app personalization, where feasible

Data we may keep

  • Order invoices, tax records, and payment-related records
  • Fraud prevention, security, and abuse logs
  • Records needed to resolve disputes, chargebacks, or warranty claims
  • Data required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory obligation
  • Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you

Retention periods

  • Account data: Deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after verification, typically within 30 days unless a legal exception applies.
  • Order and invoice records: Retained for up to 5 years, or longer if required by tax, accounting, or legal obligations.
  • Support and dispute records: Retained as long as needed to resolve the issue and for a limited period afterward for audit purposes.
  • Security and fraud logs: Retained for a reasonable security period, typically 6 to 24 months, unless extended for investigation or legal reasons.
  • Anonymized analytics: May be kept indefinitely in de-identified form.

Deletion may not be immediate for backup systems. Backup copies are removed or overwritten according to our normal backup cycle, and deleted data may persist temporarily in archived backups until they are rotated out.
